MedXLnce Business Model

MedXLnce offers multiple business solutions that will satisfy any size of budget or client.

  • Traditional LicenseThe client would license the use MOSES through the traditional method. The approach would require the client to make a full purchase up-front.  MOSES Software Suite would be installed on the client’s onsite servers. The client would typically need to setup and maintain their own servers.  Issues such as tape backups, license administration and anti-virus protection would be the responsibility of the client.
    • Advantages: Slight chance that, over an extended period of time, the annual ongoing costs might be less.
    • Disadvantages:  Large upfront costs. Server administration, maintenance, and IT staffing just some of the additional responsibilities
  • ASP License – ASP (Application Service Provider) approached would be a license that would allow the client to log onto MOSES using an internet web site.  The only hardware required would be desktop PC’s that have access to a high-speed internet connection.  No upfront costs are required.  The client would have a monthly payment, similar to leasing a car.  IT administration, maintenance and staffing are not required.  Backup, disaster plans/recovery, are all responsibilities handled by MedXLnce.
    • Advantages: No upfront costs (unless conversion is required).  No IT headaches.  Requires very little hardware to get started.
    • Disadvantages: Monthly payments (but can be categorized as an expense for tax purposes).  Requires a reliable internet connection. Client data not located onsite
  • Satellite Server License – This is similar to the traditional license in the way that MOSES is installed on a server placed at the client’s site.  However the server is purchased and owned by MedXLnce.  As far as the financial model, it would be similar to the ASP License in that there would not be any upfront costs but rather nominal ongoing monthly payments. The MOSES Server Manager (part of the MOSES Software suite) would upload data to a neutral, secured FTP site for backup.  Our ASP server would then download the data onto a database server inside our ASP Infrastructure.  Should there be any catastrophic failures with the onsite server, the client would have immediate access to their data, utilizing the ASP model and the ASP web logon page.
    • Advantages –All of the ASP License advantages plus no reliance on an internet connection.  All client data resides onsite. Disaster recovery is maintained by MedXLnce.
    • Disadvantages – Monthly payments (but can be categorized as an expense for tax purposes).
  • Billing Service If the client wishes to utilize MOSES while also using a billing service, MedXLnce has formed a strategic partnership with Medical Billing Services, Inc. (MBS) of Jacksonville. The client can make the arrangements for services with MBS. This business model utilizes the ASP License business model to bring MOSES into your office.  Contact MedXLnce about this easy way to combine this great technology with a superior billing service!
    • Advantages –All of the ASP License advantages.  Does not require personnel to handle billing.  No monthly costs other than the competitive pricing offered by MBS.
    • Disadvantages – Requires a reliable internet connection.  Client data not located onsite.
